The forms and details of the Nao 500 Victory respond to an exhaustive historical study, through documentary sources of the expedition, chronicles, and treatises on shipbuilding, iconography of the time, etc

The Nao Victoria 500 was built in the dry dock at Punta Umbria (Huelva), where The Fundación Nao Victoria rose above the Galleon Andalucia and a replica of the Nao Santa María.

The work began in February of 2019, and its launch was just a year later, after which it was towed to Seville for atracarla in front of the Paseo Marqués de Contadero, a few meters from the Space Exploraterra and Tower of Gold.

Its construction was the result of twelve months of intense work, which was attended by all the trades related to the naval construction: shipwrights, barberries, rederos, sailboats, craftsmen, engineers, historians, etc

The Nao Victoria 500 has an overall length of 26 meters, a width of 6.6 metres, a draught of 3 metres and 3 sticks (in addition to the bowsprit), flying the 6 candles, with a surface area of 290 m2.
