Exploraterra is a meeting place open to all audiences for the dissemination of the great explorations of History.

In the exhibition space, schoolchildren will be able to experience a sensory journey through the sensations and experiences of the ships themselves and the protagonists of the exploratory feats, getting closer to understanding their true dimension and the scope of their achievements.

Students will be able to learn firsthand why the exploration ventures were undertaken, who their protagonists were, how the expeditions were prepared, and the consequences they had.

The educational program is intended for elementary, middle, and high school students.

A unique experience with the Foundation's commissioner

Your event can include the lecture “The First Circumnavigation of the World” by Guadalupe Fernández Morente, PhD in American History and Curator of the Exploraterra Space. In it, she presents this great maritime feat (1519-1522) as a success story based on entrepreneurship, perseverance, and teamwork. Seville, its starting point, was key to this exploratory advance that marked the beginning of the global era.

The greatest maritime feat of all time, the First Circumnavigation of the World (1519-1522), is presented as a project of success and business excellence, representing humanity’s attitude throughout history toward new challenges: entrepreneurship, audacity, leadership, teamwork, risk-taking, uncertainty, decision-making, and resilience. Technological innovation, training, and knowledge enabled this maritime undertaking to achieve a global impact and unite the world we live in. It symbolizes humankind’s longest journey, one we continue to embark on: to dream, to set sail, to explore, to return, and to dream again..
