The first circumnavigation around the world of the Nao Victoria, is a key event in the history of explorations. Symbol of an era where the volition, the audacity, and the bravery of discovering something new it imposes itself in the fear and the gaps of the unknown. It is also a symbol of the attitude of facing the frontiers and the challenges of exploration.

As a legacy of the V Centenary the Foundation Nao Victoria will create in the “mile zero” of this extraordinary journey: the “Espacio Exploraterra”, a cultural center where it is commemorated and spread this feat, where the explorer’s spirit of the men of all ages are honored: his attitude in front of the unknown, his constant will to travel more and farther, towards the borders of the knowledge.
