Unique experience with the curator of the Foundation
Your event may include the lecture “The First Round the World Voyage” by Guadalupe Fernández Morente, PhD in American History and Commissioner of Espacio Exploraterra. In it, she presents this great maritime feat (1519-1522) as a success story based on entrepreneurship, self-improvement and teamwork. Seville, its starting point, was the key to this exploratory advance that marked the beginning of the global era.
The greatest maritime feat of all time, the First Round the World Race (1519 – 1522) is presented as a project of success and business excellence, which represents the attitude of mankind of all times in the face of new challenges: entrepreneurship, audacity, leadership, teamwork, risks, uncertainties, decisions, resistance. Innovation, technology, training and knowledge, which enabled this maritime enterprise to achieve a planetary impact and unite the world in which we live. Symbol of the longest human journey on which we are still embarked: to dream, to set sail, to explore, to return, to dream again.
